Manhole flange:
As a key component of industrial containers and equipment, manhole flanges provide an important channel for personnel access, equipment maintenance and material inspection, etc. Manhole flanges are usually round and larger than ordinary flanges, which is to meet the safety and convenience of personnel.
The structure is mainly composed of flanges, barrel joints and sealing devices.

As the foundation of the connection, the flange has sufficient strength and stiffness, and the edge is evenly distributed with bolt holes for tight connection with the equipment body or pipeline to ensure the overall sealing and stability.

The cylinder is welded vertically on the flange, which is equivalent to a small channel, its length is determined according to the wall thickness and actual needs of the equipment, the internal space to ensure that the personnel can pass smoothly, the general diameter of about 400mm to 600mm is more common.

The sealing device is the key to ensure that the internal medium of the equipment does not leak, the common sealing form has asbestos rubber gasket seal, metal wound gasket seal, etc., by tightening the bolt to make the gasket compression deformation, fill the small gap between the flange and the equipment or cover, to achieve a good sealing effect.
