• Structure: It usually consists of a pair of flange plates, several bolts and nuts, and a gasket. There are bolt holes on the flange plates. The two flange plates are connected together by bolts and nuts, and the gasket in the middle is used to ensure the tightness of the connection.
• Types: Common ones include slip-on flanges, which are suitable for pipeline connections with low pressure and small diameters. They have a simple structure and are easy to install; butt-welding flanges, which are suitable for pipelines with high temperature, high pressure and corrosive media. The connection between them and the pipeline adopts the butt-welding method, with high welding quality and good sealing performance; socket-welding flanges, which are often used for small-diameter pipelines. The pipeline is inserted into the socket of the flange for welding, which can reduce welding deformation; loose flanges, which are suitable for non-ferrous metal pipelines, stainless steel pipelines, etc. There is relative movement between the flange plate and the pipeline, which can compensate for the thermal expansion and contraction of the pipeline; threaded flanges, which are connected to the pipeline through threads.
