Connection method: It is a non-welded flange. Threads are cut on both ends of the pipeline by a threading machine, and then the pipeline is connected with the flange by threading to make the two firmly connected.
Characteristics: Compared with the slip-on welding flange or the butt-welding flange, it has the characteristics of convenient installation and maintenance, and can be used in some pipelines where welding is not allowed on site. For flanges made of alloy steel materials, if they have sufficient strength but are difficult to weld or have poor welding performance, threaded flanges can also be selected.
Scope of application: It is often used in the pipeline connections of water supply, drainage, fire protection systems, etc. Generally, when the diameter of the pipe fitting is less than 100mm, threaded flanges are often used for connection. However, it is not recommended to use it under the conditions of rapid temperature changes in the pipeline or when the temperature is higher than 260°C or lower than -45°C to avoid leakage.
Materials: There are various materials available for selection, such as WCB (carbon steel), LCB (low-temperature carbon steel), CF8M (316 stainless steel), CF3 (304L stainless steel), etc., to meet different working environments and medium requirements.
